Head of Marketing & Digital

The Head of Marketing & Digital goal is to implement, oversee, and manage digital and marketing strategies that advance the organization’s mission by reaching a broad audience and attaining greater exposure. This role collaborates with sales, creative, finance, and operations on all marketing and digital initiatives to ensure execution is achieved in a seamless and timely fashion.

Main goal: Implement and execute impactful promotional programs that will engage consumer activity and drive customer acquisition while achieving a strong ROI. Must be a self-starter, proactive thinker, and possess a can-do attitude along with the ability to autonomously own projects while partnering with European HQ.

Must have direct Beauty Industry Experience-NYC Based (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize impactful marketing programs and initiatives that will leverage brand exposure and increase visibility and results.
  • Accountable for marketing strategy and all marketing department employee roles.
  • Adapt brand materials for retail/digital specific needs by executing in-store and online marketing tools
  • Provide analytical support in regard to retailer specific programs
  • Devise and manage plans across all distribution channels that link back to overall brand objectives, focus on new client acquisition and deliver strong ROI
  • Help facilitate strategic in-store events by managing GWP allocations and ensuring the field has proper support materials for execution
  • Oversee spend by account to ensure we remain on target and reconcile overall marketing budget on a monthly basis, inclusive marketing materials and event support
  • Update and track merchandising guidelines on a seasonal basis for all selling formats
  • Work closely with HQ Creative Dept. on all creative requests to ensure brand vision is maintained and proper marketing messaging is conveyed
  • Fulfill all marketing requests for the field to meet marketing needs
  • Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with all cross functional teams

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing and or Digital marketing
  • Proven track record managing marketing channels and optimizing performance
  • Ability to manage time effectively, setting and meeting deadlines while maintaining quality of work
  • Self-motivator with a collaborative spirit
  • Flexibility in adapting to new technologies and environments
  • Comfortable working in a lean and fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in beauty/fashion-apparel/retail preferred
  • Proficient in all MS Office programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail strong leadership and team management skills
  • Creativity and ability to flourish in an entrepreneurial environment is a must.

Salary range: $150-$175K base depending on experience
