Production Coordinator

Clean Beauty Brand in need of a Production Coordinator to oversee all aspects of production, including production planning/scheduling, raw material sourcing, managing external contract manufacturers, QA/QC, and inventory management. This role will work to continuously improve supply chain and margin efficiency, and work cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing, and Growth teams to achieve global growth ambitions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed Daily/Weekly/Monthly production plans based on forecasted global demand to meet finished goods inventory on time and at cost targets
  • Lead weekly production meetings with global internal teams and external contract manufacturers
  • Own relationship with external contract manufacturers to meet aggressive launch and reorder production timelines, including communication of changes to POs, BOMs, and Fill and Assembly instructions, adherence to SOPs, and mitigation of risks & opportunities to timelines
  • Implement QA/QC standards and monitor ongoing performance to standards at contract manufacturers
  • Develop deep and direct relationships with domestic and international manufacturers to drive manufacturing efficiencies and leverage scaling capabilities of the various facilities
  • Provide input into future S&OP process. Work to identify and resolve supply and capacity constraints, with recommendations to support the business and operational planning needs over the 0-24 month horizon
  • Regularly review demand forecasts with the global growth teams to ensure growth targets are supported by the production plan
  • Manage timing of replenishment & launch productions such that desired product quantities are available at needed time
  • Source raw materials when needed
  • Participate in action reviews of marketing/sales activities and ensure that relevant learnings are incorporated into future production plans
  • Collaborate with Product Development team to support innovation, capacity, and efficiency
  • Publish production and finished goods inventory updates daily in our internal project management systems
  • Accountable for on-time, in full, and at cost delivery of finished goods
  • Accountable for data accuracy in internal systems
