Emerging Women’s Accessories and Resort wear brand expanding on their wholesale operations in need of a Head of Sales to contribute to continued growth and strategy for U.S. and European partnerships. In this role you will own the development, implementation and execution of the wholesale channel sales plan to deliver on short- and long-term sales goals and act as member of the leadership team as a key contributor in strategic planning at the company level.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish short- and long-term sales goals for all accounts and territories and manage wholesale business to these goals
  • Manage and lead independent sales force & independent showrooms, including ongoing evaluation of rep force and sales representative incentive programs to maximize sales results and service standards
  • Cultivate relationships with decision makers and leadership at key accounts, direct accounts and international partners
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations team to establish key account seasonal sales and marketing plans to drive sell through results and create/improve upon seasonal forecasting tools
  • Develop and manage internal and external reporting for wholesale business to maximize external sales force performance and provide data and insights to internal teams on wholesale performance
  • Establish partnerships with product and merchandising teams to leverage feedback from buyers and retailers to identify growth opportunities for key items and categories
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop creative strategies to connect the brand, products and partnerships with target consumers in domestic and international wholesale markets
  • Travel to trade shows, regional shows and key line showings to ensure clear brand message and identify sales opportunities by account
  • Own P+L for Wholesale department, including opex, forecasting, inventory management margin maintenance
