Meet Our Team

Known for her energy and enthusiasm, Meghan Houle is coming up on her 8th year with The Bowerman Group and brings to the business her firsthand experience within the luxury retail world working within stores and corporate teams for many years prior, shaping and building the careers of those around her.  She followed her passion for people by switching to the talent side of the business with her ultimate goal of creating a recruiting space that “keeps it real” with the best interest in mind of all parties involved.

What do you love most about recruiting for the retail industry?

“ I caught the retail bug, like many, at a young age… I knew I loved helping people from a service point of view in stores and now I am able to work with some of the best clients and candidates in the industry still serving others, but in a different way.  True blue career retailers are super passionate and have so much love for this business. When I am able to connect with someone who I can share my same energy for this industry inside and out, it really brightens my day.”

How do you stay productive during this work from home period?

“You have to keep a schedule; I am a big writer, list maker and time blocker.  I set a realistic time goal for the day with each task and write down 10 things overall I want to accomplish (work and personal wise), it makes me feel productive when I am able to check off my list what I have done and of course, set a plan for the next day/week ahead.…and it’s OK to spend some time on Instagram as well. 🙂

Where would we find you when you are not working?

“ I would be at the gym, at some fitness class, I love Barry’s Bootcamp, SLT, Flywheel… really any fitness class with a sense of community and then I would be traveling… Kauai and Sonoma/Napa are my go-to dream spots”

What is one item you cannot live without?  “COFFEE… give me all the COFFEE!”

Best advice you can give to someone right now?

“Stay positive, it is OK to have days where you feel sad, anxious, let yourself feel those emotions but know we have brighter days ahead and use this time for self-development as you can, learn something new, spend quality time that is good for your soul.”
