About the Role
As part of its New York expansion, the company is seeking a Senior Business Developer to help build and grow its network of luxury and lifestyle brand partners.
Reporting to and working closely with the New York Country Manager, the Senior Business Developer will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing new brand partnerships. This role is ideal for a highly driven sales professional with strong knowledge of the luxury, fashion, or lifestyle sectors and a proven ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update a carefully selected list of prospective brand partners on a daily basis.

Identify and qualify key contacts, stakeholders, and decision-makers within target companies.

Develop a tailored approach and outreach strategy for each prospective partner.

Conduct outreach with determination, tact, professionalism, and persistence.

Secure meetings with relevant senior decision-makers.

Prepare sales arguments and present potential partnership scenarios following initial meetings.

Write detailed meeting reports, including summaries, insights, and customized proposals.

Manage the business development process through to final negotiation, sale, and contract signature.

Provide regular, rigorous updates to company leadership on pipeline progress and business development activity.

Monitor market trends, luxury and fashion ecosystems, and developments within target brands.

Understand the structure, organization, and strategic priorities of target companies in order to propose relevant partnership opportunities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a business school background and 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar sales or business development role, preferably within the luxury, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
